Hey! What About Music is an all ages class. Our participants range anywhere from newborns up to age five.
HWAM! involves singing, dancing, and drumming. A typical class starts with a few sing-a-longs then moves into some percussion, dancing, fun with scarves, and more signing. We do a mix of classic kid's songs, popular music, and American folk/bluegrass music. This class is fun for both parents and kids. The bulk of this class involves LIVE MUSIC played by the instructor and sung by the kids. We only use recorded music during the percussion and the "free dance" portions of class. If you have any other questions regarding the class please call or email us.
We do require that one parent/guardian be present during class. Our little participants learn so much by example, we need your help to show them the way.
You can drop-in, pending availability. Go to our homepage to check current drop-in availibility. Drop-ins are $17 per class.

Bonnie Sims is our resident "musical jack-of-all-trades". Aside from teaching Mandolin, Voice, and
Songwriting, here at Harmony Music House, Bonnie has a passion for connecting with the little ones.
From a very early age Bonnie began performing kids shows with her Dad in Texas, and hasn't looked
back since. Bonnie and our staff have designed a program that will get your little one(s) singing, movin',
playin', and smiling.
Born in Mississippi to a band of barbershop singers, I was raised around great music and amazing harmonies. My mom says I've been singing since before I could walk and I haven't stopped since. I began performing for audiences when I was 7 years old and attained my first guitar at age 13. I studied music through grade school and furthered my education at the University of MS on a vocal scholarship.
I am from Colorado Springs, born and raised in a deeply musical family. My mother (who sings like an angel and plays guitar and piano) put a guitar in my hands when I could first hold one and has been singing to me since I was in the womb. I think my musical spark comes from those early moments and the early exposure to music that my mom and family gave me. Since that time I have had a colorful history with music: years of competitive choral singing; playing and recording with a pop Christian band; running music programs through an Easter Seals camp for kids and adults with an array of physical and mental disabilities and abilities; and, most recently, playing stages big and small around Colorado with my own original projects.
